Early Trout & Smallmouth

My friend Tony Brown joined Rick Quade from Trophy Technologies and I on Lake Superior for an early season combo trip in 2015 to film an episode for Trophy Fish Hunter.  Spring can be a crazy time of year on the “Big Drink”, and you can find yourself battling lake trout one minute or tangling with bruiser bronzebacks the next.  Mix in a walleye or two, and it sounds just about like my kind of day…  In this episode we put the XRM jerk bait to the test, and it lived up to its reputation as a multi-species ace in the hole.
