Generally speaking, the lakes we fish are included within and near the boundaries of the triangle formed when connecting the locations of Hayward, Ashland, and Superior.
For many years I've referred to this as the “Magic Triangle”, and the fishing opportunities in this area truly are magical. This includes the famous Hayward Lakes area, Lake Superior’s Chequamegon Bay, and the St. Louis River-Superior Harbor. The numerous bodies of water contained within this region present you with vast opportunities to fish for a variety of species in many different environments. Abundant wildlife in the wilderness setting that surrounds many of our lakes will enhance your experience and add perspective to the day. From Chequamegon Bay smallmouth to Hayward area muskies to St. Louis River walleyes all of the bases are covered for your northern Wisconsin fishing experience. I'm on the water nearly every day of the open water season and will have current information regarding active bite and the best water to fish.
