Hayward, Wisconsin Fishing Report 6-14-13
Words can’t do this report justice, so I won’t try. Last year, I wrote about a fishing trip with my friend Don Christensen, “A Day With Don”. Well, Don and his son Riley returned today to settle a score. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Here are the totals and details from 4 hrs. of fishing:
- 12 walleyes up to 28 inches
- 1 northern pike, 32″
- 1 largemouth bass, 17
- Slip bobbers and leeches
- 11 – 13 feet of water
- Partly cloudy skies with a stiff south wind and warm temps
- More memories than I can count!
The sequel to “A Day With Don” will follow at a later date. Special Thanks to M & M Rental, O’Briens C-Store, The Hunt, Big Tine, Fishing Has No Boundaries, and my good friend Scott Roppe for making this a day to remember!

Wow, way to go Don! All of us here at “The HUNT” are honored to have been a part of your great day on the water. Of course, it sure helps having one of the best fishing guides in the state in the boat with you. A big thanks to you, Jeff, for all you do to make Don’s dreams come true!!
