Chequamegon Bay Wisconsin Fishing Report 5-10-13
I have not been on the bay yet, but my sources tell me that the ice is ready to leave at any time. As of Thursday night, there was still quit a bit of ice pushed up against the head of the bay and along the Ashland shoreline. Most folks seem to think that it will be free and clear by the end of the weekend as they are predicting big winds for Saturday. The north side of the bay is clear of ice, and I have heard that the trout and salmon crew is doing well. Due to my schedule, I may not make it out there fore a couple of weeks, but I will keep you posted on any updates I have. Be good to the moms in your life everyone, and happy Mothers Day!! Stay tuned…

Would like to speak with a guide as we plan to take a fishing trip the last week in June, in Northern Wisconsin or Minnesota. Particularly interested in Crappie and Walleye.
